Christmas cards - Store bought vs. handmade?
If you received a handmade Christmas card from a family member or friend *last* year, would you be offended if that person sent a store-bought card *this* year? I've been making handmade cards, but don't want anyone to be upset next year if I send boxed cards!

- If they're offended, they're just plain silly. At least you're sending them a card. It isn't all that common anymore. Unless they're complete twits, they'll realize that sometimes life catches up with you and you just don't have all the time you used to have.
- NO , but I think it's so sweet when children make cards to give to family members take care :>)
- i personally won't be offended!

- I would not be offended. However, i would pick the handmade card anyday. There so much more personal and everything. But i would definetly not be offended, i might just assume that the person has more things to do these days. Good luck!
- I am sure that they will be touched that you sent a card; it really is a forgotten art.
- Hey, a card is a card. Sounds pretty odd to care about how it was made.
- No reasonable person would be offended. Both kinds of cards can be beautiful depending on the design and message inside.
- I make my own cards and most people don't notice =(
- its the thought that counts, they shouldn't be offended at all. maybe you could write a long message in each of the cards im sure people would love that
