Holiday cards: How early is too early?

How early is too early to send out holiday cards? They are not Christmas-specific and are just plain holiday cards.

1. Send them whenever you want to. We received an xmas card 10 days ago. It doesn't bother me. If you have the time, do it.
2. I would say now is a good time. Its Dec already and the holidays are in full effect. I sent mine out already and also received some in the mail. So go at it.. Good Luck
3. I don't think it is too early, I have already started receiving holiday cards. I think it is better to enjoy them longer anyway.
4. Well, people usually get more in the Holiday spirit about 2 weeks before Christmas. And depending on where they live, send them so that they would get their in the second or third week of December. I usually start sending mine within the next couple of days. And I have already received quite a few. Don't do it in the first week, and don't do it last minute.
5. Oh, say Halloween. But what the heck, the stores start decorating for Christmas by then!
6. It's not too early now, if that is your questions. As far as I've seen, it's perfectly acceptable to send out holiday cards, put up holiday ornaments, and turn on holiday music after Thanksgiving.

8. The earlier you send them, the better chance you have to receive some back. If I get a card from someone I forgot to send to, I will send one to them if there is time.
9. right now is too early wait till at least the middle or so of them month and then mail them out, I believe that is when my mother used to do it.
10. I will be sending mine out this afternoon. So now is a good time.
11. I always make sure my cards get in the mail the first weekend in December. That way, they beat the holiday mail rush! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
