Handmade Holiday Cards

How can I succeed selling handmade cards?

I created beautiful handmade cards (out of scrapbook paper, embellishments, etc) and opened my shop at Etsy.com and i had only 1 order (it was from my friend). But just don't understand why still no orders. I need help, advise or suggestion. Please help.

1. You must have marketing strategies.The important thing is how you promote your business.That is the key how you can get customer.Try to advertise your shop at high traffic free classified.You can get customer from that.Advertise at this website.
2. I would suggest reaching out to some websites that review Etsy.com sellers and products, a lot of design blogs do. Poppytalk is a great one, check out the site and you'll see what I mean. http://www.poppytalk.blogspot.com/
3. How about telling your friends and family to buy from you. Well, let's see your shop and I can tell you what's wrong and why no orders, and what can be :) improved and I'll give you suggestions.
