Handmade Holiday Cards

I enjoy making handmade greeting cards on my spare time. I would like to start a business, where do i start?!?

how would i publish and copyright my stuff? how would i reproduce handmade cards?

1. It depends on how much you can produce. The best way is the sign up in the craft market, because most ppl like to purchase the hand made stuff. And you can get little booth, to sell the things you made over a period of time. If you dont' produce much, then you can talk to stores which carry the hand made, craft products for local ppl. To see if they are willing to consign with your stuff.
2. If it is a cottage business, you should begin by selling your cards to local stores, Conventin & Visitor's Bureau, Chamber of Commerce and anywhere in your city that is locally owned. You will need to provide racks as well as a supply of cards and envelopes. I would start first with selling the cards to friends and relatives. See how much time and expense you have so you will know what to charge to make a profit.
