Handmade Holiday Cards

Does anyone else make their own holiday cards?

I know I'm a bit neurotic... I was wondering if any one else had started designing their Holiday cards? I make my own handmade Holiday cards... and yes they have to be holiday cards because I have friends of different faiths and I think it would be rude to send someone who celebrates Haunnukka a Christmas card... but that's just me... Anyway any one out there who makes their own cards too? Here's a site with some good ideas... www.impress.com

  1. me me me!! I'm a designer by profession, so I prefer to design my own holiday/occasion cards and ecards too!
  2. My cousin makes her own. Their pretty kickass!
  3. Well, sort a. When ever children ask me what to give their mother for.....I always tell them the greatest present would be a hand made greeting card and a good report card. I know that's not what you meant but I thought I'd pop it in. By the way, your thoughtfulness of individualized greetings were noticed. Instead of 'Holiday Greetings" why not list each by ti's proper name? I know this means you must plan carefully. Maybe your way is better. Vaya con DIOS
  4. No, I don't. I buy the biggest box of the least expensive cards I can find. Most people I know just toss them after the holidays anyway. I think your thoughtfulness and creativity are wonderful though.
  5. i do
  6. Yes, I do and many of my friends do as well since so many of us are scrappers and/or rubber stampers. We don't send to people who don't appreciate them. If we know they toss them - they go off the lists. I don't know why people bother to send cards that are printed on cheap paper with just their names scrawled on them. What's the point?
  7. I don't even send them out anymore. They just get tossed after the holidays and they are too expensive to send out now anyway.
  8. I do both; make and bought. The made ones are either stamped or made on the computer. I have my daughter help me make them. It's good quality time. Those go to the people on the "A" list. The other people on the "B" list get the bought ones.
