why does those boxes of holidays cards always have to take more stamps ?

handmade greetings such birthdays, baby showers, good well, new baby deliever, etc.. in one whole box that you buy from the store.

1. i'm not sure if i completely understand your question, but if your asking why do those cards require more postage than the standard letter, it is usually because the cards are either oddly shaped (e.g. square) or weigh more than the 1 ounce. check out http://pe.usps.gov/text/dmm300/ratesandfees.htm
