How many Holiday cards do you send out?

I mean to say Christmas cards but I want to include everyone who celebrates the winter holidays.

  5. as many as you want
  6. This is a good question I have been pondering about this myself. For me it all depended on a couple of things. First I made a list of close relatives and friends that I keep in contact with this way, for me, I knew if I should buy a box of "10" cards or a box of "30". I hope this helps. I went with the box of "10". The family general dollar store had a variety box of "10" for a dollar. Secondly, if you work in an office you have to decide if you want to share cards with your co-workers or not. Think about it, break it down and take it from there. Shop wise especially during the holiday season. It worked out great for me. Hope this helped a bit. Have a safe holiday season.
  7. probably two....for mom and sister.
  8. I send about 80. Each year I say I'm going to scale down due to the work and cost but I don't know who to cut out. I think I may have cut out about 10 people. I like to send photo cards from Sears and they are pretty costly. I buy about 50 of them, and on the rest I use my own cards and attach the wallet size photos they give me in the package.
  9. too many
  10. I think it is a waste of time and money. I do not send any. I receive some. Open and read them. Think "How Nice". And then think that they wasted their money on 1: the card. 2: the postage stamp. And wonder how many others they have sent out. After I open and read them they are tossed away and forgotten about. I can see maybe sending a card to someone who may be over seas. Better yet ...take the money you would spend on cards and postage. Make up a care package of cookies, candy, etc. and give it to a local organization that sends Christmas packages to our G.I.s overseas. Put a note in it that tells who ever that gets it. That you are proud of them. Call the people, that you normally would send cards to, and wish them a happy holiday personally.
  11. depends on how much stamps are and if any of my relatives live out of the country. probably around 27 or less
