Handmade Holiday Cards

Can you give me your opinion aboot holiday cards?

Is it appropriate to have the entire family in the holiday photo card? 99% of the holiday cards we get from friends have JUST the kids in the photo. It's not like I think the kids are ugly- but I want to see MY FRIENDS too. We always take a family photo and include ourselves. Is that tacky? Are our friends getting our card and saying "Why did they include themselves (and not just the kids)?"

2. I think family cards are always tacky. Particularly if you include a "family newsletter". Yawn.
3. Some people just don't like to take pictures or don't think their photogenic enough. That's all that is, so they just show off their kids. I for one would go with seeing my friends in the picture. I think it's nice to see the entire family in a Xmas card, so no I doubt that anyone would consider it tacky at all!
4. I hate to break it to you,but most people dislike cards with the family photos on them.I'd never even display such a card.Get a nice holiday scene one,a Currier and Ives print,or an old fashioned looking Santa Claus,or nice snow covered scene type.
